Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using Afterlight, including photo uploads, AI video creation, and purchases. Last updated October 16, 2026.

By accessing the site or using its creation tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not upload photos, place an order, or use the video service.

1. Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, to create an account or purchase a video. Sign-in uses Google. Keep your account access secure and remain responsible for activity under your account.

2. Photo permissions and your responsibilities

Upload only photos you have the right to use and only portraits of adults who have agreed to take part in a fictional AI-generated video. Do not upload a minor’s image, someone’s photo without their permission, or material that violates another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.

You keep the rights you already hold in the photos you upload. To provide the service, you give Afterlight permission to store, copy, and transmit those photos to the configured video-generation provider and to process them as needed to make and deliver your requested video. 3. AI content rules and reporting

These rules apply to photos, prompts, instructions, generated videos, and anything shared through the service. You may not request, create, upload, or distribute content that:

  1. Is sexual or exploitative: pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexual nudity, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexualized depictions of anyone under 18. Never submit sexual content involving minors, including fictional depictions.
  2. Shows graphic violence or gore: realistic or graphic injury, dismemberment, torture, cruelty, or death. The service’s fictional, non-graphic zombie theme is allowed.
  3. Promotes hate or violent extremism: dehumanizes, excludes, or encourages violence against people based on protected characteristics, or promotes recruitment or propaganda for violent extremist groups.
  4. Threatens, harasses, or abuses someone: including threats, stalking, bullying, or humiliating depictions that target a person without their consent.
  5. Impersonates or deceives: falsely depicts a real person as saying or doing something, creates deceptive evidence or endorsements, or facilitates scams, fraud, extortion, or impersonation.
  6. Enables illegal or dangerous activity: including encouraging self-harm or suicide, child exploitation, animal cruelty, serious criminal conduct, or instructions intended to cause harm.

We use automated safety measures, including the configured video provider’s NSFW screening. A request may be refused or a generation may fail when a safety check blocks it. Automated checks are imperfect and may not identify every prohibited item; you remain responsible for following these rules.

To report a video or other content, email support@zombiecouplevideos.app. Include the video or task ID (or link), the relevant rule category, and a short explanation. Please do not attach illegal or explicit material to your report. We will review the information available and may restrict access, remove content where feasible, block further generation, or suspend an account when appropriate.

We may restrict access to content or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these terms or create a risk to people, the service, or our providers.

4. AI generation and results

Afterlight sends your selected photos, scene, and creative direction to the configured video provider to generate a short video. Generated videos are checked by the provider’s configured NSFW checker. Uploaded photos are not separately checked by Afterlight for NSFW content.

AI generation is variable. A result may differ from the example, prompt, or your expectations, and faces, movement, details, timing, and audio may not be consistent. We do not promise a particular result, processing time, or uninterrupted availability. Review a video before downloading or sharing it.

Subject to your rights in the uploaded photos and any provider terms that apply, you may download and use the video made for you for lawful purposes. Results may not be unique, and we do not promise that a generated result qualifies for copyright protection in your location.

5. Prices, orders, and video credits

When checkout is available, one video costs USD $9.90 as shown before payment. This is a one-time purchase; it is not a subscription. The hosted checkout is processed by Waffo. The order is added to your account after we receive and verify a successful payment notification. Any taxes or additional charges shown at checkout are determined there.

A confirmed purchase provides one video generation. The credit is used when you submit a generation request. If the provider reports that generation failed, the credit is restored so you can try again without purchasing another one. If a request is still processing or its status is unclear, check My videos before starting another paid request.

Refunds and payment adjustments are subject to applicable law and the payment provider’s process. A confirmed refund may reverse the associated video credit, including where that credit has already been used. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

6. Your content and service rights

You are responsible for the photos and instructions you submit. You confirm that you have permission to use them and to request the processing described here. You remain responsible for how you use or share the finished video.

Afterlight’s site, design, and software are operated as a service, not transferred to you. We grant you a limited, revocable permission to access and use the site for its intended purpose, subject to these terms.

7. Third-party services

Sign-in, payments, hosting, storage, analytics, and video generation may rely on third-party services. Those services may have separate terms and privacy practices. Afterlight is not responsible for third-party sites or services outside its control. More details about information handling are available in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and account changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including for maintenance, provider changes, security concerns, or suspected misuse. We may suspend or end access when an account materially violates these terms or applicable law. Where practical, we will try to preserve access to paid work or explain what action is needed.

9. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, without a promise that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when this page was last updated. If you continue using Afterlight after revised terms take effect, that use is subject to the updated terms. If you disagree, stop using the service.
